Take on this out and back course to really get in the Christmas spirit. This event isn't just about the race itself, the activities at Race HQ are bound start a jolly atmosphere. Whether you want a PB or ton challenge yourself to a slightly longer distance there is something for everyone.

Route Type Out and Back
A real Christmas atmosphere awaits all runners with music and food (and even a Christmas tree) to celebrate the season.
This out and back race starts on the canal at Kirkstall Leeds and is the first day of this 'It's Grim Up North Running' Event. The course is perfectly flat, so whether you want a PB or challenge yourself to a slightly longer distance there is something for everyone.
This is the first day of the Christmas Cracker event, but don't worry - you do not have to run both days to take part! Choose whichever day suits your schedule.

• Parking can be found on local streets and in the nearby supermarket. Please note that you must be respectful of the local residents.
Age Requirements
• 5k: Participants need to be 16 and over
• 10k: Participants need to be 18 and over
• 10 & 20 mile: Participants need to be 18 and over
• Half Marathon and Marathon: Participants need to be 18 and over
• Ultra: Participants need to be 21 and over
Cut-off time
The cut-off time is 6.5 hours.
Feed Stations
These stations can be found every three miles, and will be stocked with sweet/salty snacks, juice, and water.
Water Stations
There will be stations to fill your water bottles/cups. However, this is a plastic free event, meaning the organiser will not be providing cups.
Toilets
Toilets are placed next to the start and finish line.
