This special event celebrates the gorgeous sunflower, the flower that symbolises everlasting hope.
For this event we would love to take you on a journey of renewed positivity and looking forward.
To capture the theme (and associated goodies) the event comprises of two tasks. For the first task we will send you a packet of sunflowers through the post , we would love you to plant these, nurture them and watch them grow, take photos if you can and show off your green fingers because come the summer there will be a Grim Goodie bag for the tallest sunflower. In addition to your seeds each runner will receive a sunflower buff to wear for the second task where hey will be required to run a minimum of twenty miles . For this task a beautiful shiny medal of everlasting hope (AKA The a sunflower) will arrive on your mat in August , perfect timing for when the sunflowers are in bloom .
