This is one of our favourites, starting from the Bronte school rooms this five mile lapped course is as Northern as it gets, green fields , moors and gorgeous scenery align the route. This multi terrain will provide the full range of hills, mud (depending on weather) and challenging paths. The Grim Up North Marshal team will be there to support and encourage you. Regular feed stations provide an array of snacks. A cake table , warm cuppa and somewhere to sit down and recover will be provided in the school room when you have finished your race. Parking is available in the nearby pay and display carpark on surrounding streets.

In its third year this chip timed five mile lapped course provides the perfect setting for trail running. The undulating route is on good path, the scenery is lovely and makes the effort well worth it. Registration will take place in the community hall (adjacent to the start of the race) and runners will collect their bibs on the day. This well marshalled route will provide feed stations every 2.5 miles and will provide runners with drinks and snacks. Home made cakes a bespoke medal, beer and cake will await all finishers, there are also facilities to make a cup of tea. Parking is available on local streets, there is also some available car parking in the car park close to the start (please note that charges apply so have change available. Toilets are available at the start of the race and runners will pass this point with each lap. The race brief will be sent out one week before the race.
