A 5 mile lapped trail race in the heart of South Yorkshire. This chip timed event will take place at Rabbit Ings a country park located on the former colliery yard and spoil heap of the Monkton Colliery and then the Royston Drift Mine. This country park is the home for varied wild life, it is not unusual to see deer observing the many visitors from afar. The good trail paths help form this lovely undulating route which has received great feedback in previous years. All runners will receive a bespoke medal and goody bag. The race brief will be dispatched to the provided email address one week before the event . Numbers are collected on the day at registration. Feed stations (carrying water, juice and snacks)are situated every three miles and toilets are at the start line which runners will cross on each lap .

This established race is a 5 mile lapped course in the South Yorkshire Park country park of Rabbit Ings, with good trail path all the way round and one ‘generous hill’ this is a great little event. Wild life a plenty will provide a distraction , the regular goodies , home made cake , a medal and goody bag await all participants. Free parking available on site. Bibs will be given at registration and this will take place in the Grim Up North Gazebo next to the start line.
